Scout Innovation

Because too many leaders are navigating uncharted territory with outdated maps.

You can feel the terrain shifting—economically, socially, culturally, and technologically. The landmarks you used to rely on are disappearing, and the pressure to “have the answers” is constant.

I created Scout Innovation to help you pause, take in the view, and choose the future you want to create. Now, you can lead your team along this new path.

Meet Your Guide

I’m Genevieve—a social scientist, futurist, and innovation guide.

My work sits at the edge of theory and practice—where learning, human development, and large-scale changemaking intersect. I focus on how people and institutions actually create and adopt innovation.

As an applied futurist, my areas of focus include the futures of learning, coaching, and human development, and integrative health. These are the systems I study, the professions I work alongside, and the terrain I walk every day through futures research, coaching, and design thinking leadership.

Over time, I noticed a pattern: the people and teams who thrive in uncertainty aren’t the ones with the best plans.

They’re the ones who stay curious and practice strategic exploration.

Scout Innovation is my way of sharing what I see from the trail—signals, patterns, and practical findings for wayfinders shaping what’s next.

My Guideposts:

Curiosity is more powerful than certainty.

People—not frameworks—drive change.

The best future is a collective one, shaped together.

If you’re navigating change and sensing what’s ahead, you don’t have to do it alone.

My vision is to grow a broader community of designers, innovators, and creators shaping a future that includes a life-centered ecosystem. System-level change starts with one conversation, one expedition, one possibility at a time.

Reach out to start a conversation and let’s start exploring what’s next—together.
